Mary Clark - Class of 2025 - Treasurer
Mary is a native of Plant City, where she grew up in the Methodist Church and was received into St. Peter's Episcopal Church as an adult. She later worshipped at St. Mark's in Washington, DC, and was a member of St. John the Divine in Houston when she lived in those cities. After returning permanently to Florida, Mary began worshipping at St. Thomas' in 2019, formally joining in 2020.
You will most likely see Mary at the 10am worship service and at Supper, Song, and Prayer on Wednesdays. She also volunteers with Benison Farm, Sandwich Sunday and kids' movie nights, and was a docent for Icons in Transformation. She participated in the Spring 2022 Sacred Ground Circle.
Mary attended the University of Florida and the University of South Florida, earning a bachelor's degree in communications. Following an early stint in broadcasting, she discovered what would become a career-long passion for the airline industry, working at both Continental and United Airlines. She held positions in a variety of areas including government affairs, international alliances and public relations, ultimately serving as a spokeswoman for both carriers. Mary has volunteered in the local community with World Central Kitchen and as a Guardian ad Litem in the 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County.
