Sandwich Sunday
On Sandwich Sunday (the first Sunday of each month), Vickie sets up the hall. Parishioners gather between the 8am and 10am services (at around 9am) to make 200 sandwiches. After noon, Angie Ford takes the sandwiches to Robin Taylor of Isaiah’s Place to distribute to the community she serves at Mirror Lake and beyond. Saturday Hot Meal Cooking and Preparation
We also recently began cooking and plating 200 hot meals twice a month (the 1st and 3rd Saturdays) from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Please come for an hour or two: cook, slice and dice, meet new folk, and help plate 200 hot meals for delivery.
