“Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in Your Truth; give me an undivided heart to revere Your Name."

Our classes are designed to give opportunity to grow as a Christian community and provide many entryways for all ages no matter where one may be in their spiritual journey. Classes provide guidance in a nurturing environment where one can explore God’s word, experience his love and build strong friendships and fellowship.

All areas of study are offered ranging from traditional bible study and preparation for sacraments to contemporary issues and present day topics. Opportunities for ministry include teaching, assisting, leading prayer and organizing projects.

Adult Education

Christian Formation knows no age limit.  St. Thomas has several adult offerings for your consideration.

Every Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. in the Guild Room, we have a Men’s Bible Study which has as its foundation the lectionary readings for the upcoming Sunday. Join us for coffee, Danish and Scripture.

On Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Founder's Room, the women of St. Thomas gather for their own time of study.  Women of the Word have opted for a more in depth study of a Book of the Bible. Join us for this time of community and sharing.

At various times throughout the week, we have Adult Formation classes. In the past we have had evening religious studies led by local professors, Scripture based studies led by both laity and clergy, and Sunday morning faith based parenting classes led by our Education staff. We have also enjoyed series that are more meditative in nature, to help get through the busy times of our lives. Any good idea can for the basis for these offerings, which usually change every four to six weeks. Please contact us for the details of the next class session, or check the calendar for weekly class dates and times.
